Follow this guide to enroll in Francisco Partners Passwordless Okta authentication. If you need assistance please email heldpesk@franciscopartners.com to open a support ticket.
- Login to Okta: https://apps.franciscopartners.com
- Username: Email Address
- Password: The password you have set or supplied by IT
- You will not be able to access any applications until you register, you will notice the padlock
- A second Browser tab should open to the Beyond Identity User Console, if it doesn't please click on this tile to register

- Click the Blue Download button and follow the prompts to install the authenticator (https://app.byndid.com/desktop-login/downloads)
- Select the right installer based on your device type.
- Once it is installed go back to the browser tab with above screen and click Register New Passkey
- Click Always Allow and then Open
- The credential will then be installed
- Go back to the Okta portal browser tab
- Click your account in the top right then select sign out
- Click your account in the top right then select sign out
- Login again with your email address
- This time it will not ask for a password and will leverage the Beyond Identity Token
- The first time you login you will have to enroll in Beyond Identity MFA, click Set up
- Click Enroll again
- You will be asked for your computer password to enroll MFA
- Once logged in the locks will be removed from the Okta Apps
- if you need to login to an app from another computer or from a mobile device open the authenticator and click Set up other devices
- It will ask you for your computer password to confirm your identity
- From there you can scan the QR code from a mobile device after you install the Beyond Identity App from the App Store.
- You can also use the code to manually pair the authenticator (Caution: This code rotates every 30 seconds, so you have to have the other device ready before using the code)
- You will not have to maintain a password to access Francisco Partners resources and if you previously used Duo, you no longer need that.
